Description

1967 Fender Bassman 2-Channel 50-Watt Head Black Face + matching Piggyback 2×12″ cabinet

Up for sale, here’s a beautiful example of a VERY CLEAN 1967 Fender Bassman head black face, plus a matching 2×12″ Bassman Piggyback cabinet loaded with two Pyle (Utah) MH12C290 speakers .

Amazing for Guitar and/or bass. It’s been played mainly in studio and serviced. Cosmetically and functionally The amp is incredible condition and all appears to be original with the exception of the tubes, recapped and the upgraded speakers. It also has the 3 prong plug for safety reasons.

All transformers and pots are dated ’67 and ’66 (even the amp cab has the “P” prefix, it’s printed ’67 date on the chassis). Everything seems original, all original transformers and still retains the coveted blue molded caps. The tubes are RCA on the power amp section, TAD and GE’s on the preamp section. Pots works flawlessly. All hardware seems to be all original and fully functional (latches to lock the head with the cab and the two legs works perfect). The amp sounds clean and 100% as expected. The grill cloth seems to be original.

The cab is mainly original with the exception of the obvious speakers and possibly the original grill cloth re-framed . The Pyle speakers are exactly like the Utah 12″ speakers (Pyle was previously Utah) that Fender originally used on multiple black and silver faces from the early ’60s throughout early ’70’s. These MH12C290 speakers are dated ’78 and they sounds so good.

If you’re interested in just the Amp without the cab feel free to message us and we can discuss it, however we’re most likely interested din selling these as a combo.
